After the occupation and opening to the public of a long-abandoned university library yesterday, students in Turin occupied a former department of Law studies to draw attention and denounce the muddy business of the university authorities revolving around endless and costly renovations of student spaces. At the same time the cities’ housing rights committees picketed the headquarters of the housing territorial agency ATC to claim the immediate halt of evictions and payment of exorbitant installments.

Finally, the university headmaster offices in Palermo were flooded by students enraged by raising fees and waning services. A huge banner was stretched out from the roof to publicize the students’ grievances.
