through which we believe there is an urgency to raise, beside the fundamental humanitarian issue (featuring hundreds of people that have been undertaking a thousand different solidarity actions for days), the political problem that, tragedy after tragedy, abuse after abuse, stands at its core.

We publish hereafter the call that we received from the Coordinamento Complici e Solidali – Sanremo Ventimiglia:

 

The selfsame European Union that first colonized and then bombed and stirred up several wars inside African countries, in order to pillage their oil and resources, now closes its borders to the immigration that it created by itself.

A solidal and internationalist framework to oppose against the Europe of Banks, of International Monetary Fund, of the NATO, of the repression and the classist ferocity against the most weak, be them residents or foreigners, does exist. 

The people masses in Europe are not against the people masses in Africa.

But those who want to exploit Africa are the same that exploit the European peoples. We have a common enemy.

Salvini’s League and the French fascists feed the fire of racism in order to unleash a battle of have-nots and safeguard the centers of power which are responsible for what is happening.

When millions of unemployed, of precarious workers, of low-income pensioners, of workers that struggle to make it to the end of the month, are convinced that their problems are caused by who experience an even worse condition than them, we are facing the masterpiece of the dominant classes.

Against this distorted and shameful idea of European Union managed by financial oligarchies that rob other peoples and impoverish their own.

In order to practice a direct and grassroots rebel solidarity.
