After a not so timely intervention by the US military personnel, it was the turn of national Police, which demanded the immediate halt of the protest.

But from the picket that joins the actions, participated by dozens of activists and supporters, they make us know that they are bracing themselves to stay there for the night, too, enduring a not really friendly climate, like during that 2013, when six activists climbed on the NRTF fences (Turi being among them back then, too), and they were pulled out without consequences thanks to the invasion of the base by thousands of people.

The action this morning shows to us how a popular struggle movement like the No Muos, during a period of difficult mass mobilization, can still hold on to a certain extent. Being able to still keep in the spotlight an unresolved issue. Both from a judiciary point of view, which is instrumental to the grassroots claims, and from that of the claims themselves. The battle against the US monster is still standing.
